The Summer Pop Chia Parfait

Good morning beautiful souls! I hope you are feeling well, happy, and calm as you are reading this new post :)

Are you ready for layers and layers of mouthfuls of sunshine? I am sure! 

Let's do this.


What you'll need layer by layer, from bottom to top:

Layer 1: Almond Chia Vanilla

  • 1/4 cup almond milk 
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup 

Layer 2: Blueberry Chia

  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 2-3 tbsp chia seeds

Layer 3: Strawberry Lust

  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 tbsp maca (optional)

Layer 4: Mango Heaven

  • 1/4 cup coconut milk (or almond)
  • 1 cup frozen mango



Blend each layer separately. 

Start by layer 1, pour it into your glass and let it rest in the fridge. 

Then continue with layer 2, add it on top of layer 1, and store again in the fridge. 

Blend layer 3 and add it to layer 2 and store in the fridge.

And finally blend layer 4 and add it to layer 3.

I would say keeping at least 15 mins intervals between each layer is good to let the layer sit and become a little more firm to allow for the colour to really separate. Or if you're pressed for time, you can just layer them up on the spot, no big deal! it is your smoothie cup :)


There is nothing like waking up to a little cup of sunshine. 

I usually prepare this mix the night prior, so that it is ready to go in the morning, straight into my belly. Bon appetit xoxo
