The 'You'll never guess it's not chocolate' Carob Porridge
Have you heard of Charlie & The Carob Tree?

Charlie & The Carob Tree is a family owned business, where Lisa, a wife & cancer survivor, created this perfect Carob blend since she was no longer allowed to eat chocolate.
I kid you not, it tastes so much like chocolate you won't know the difference! Also with the added maca, cinnamon, maple sugar, wattleseed & murray river salt, their blend really is the person combination of chocolatey, vanilla-ey and spice.
The hints of vanilla & caramel are heavenly.
Just in case you are unfamiliar with Carob, Carob is
full of fiber,
is low in fat and sugar,
& it is caffeine + gluten free!
It even has twice the amount of calcium compared to cocoa.
- 1/2 banana
- 1/2 cup buckwheat
- 2 tbsp carob powder
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp agave or 1 tbsp maple syrup or 1 chopped mejdool date (no seed) - optional
Another side note, is to recommend you try Bobbi Brown's instant detox mask. Once a week, applied for 5 minutes, it does the skin wonders!
- Goji berries
- Chopped pecans
- Dash of cinnamon
Add all ingredients in a pot (that you can place in the oven), mix together
Place in the oven @200C for 10mins
Carefully remove (don't burn yourself!) and all your toppings.
