Choco-Chia Oat Cookies

Sometimes there is nothing better to do than to wake up and bake.

Prep time: ±15mins @180C

Serves 2-4people

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Raw Cacao
  • 3 Tbsp ChiaSeeds
  • 7 Mejdool Dates
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 cup Walnuts
  • 2 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 1 + 1/3 cup Oats
  • 3 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • Pinch of salt
  • ¼ cup of Water (if needed)

 

Method

  1. I wore gloves for this because it can get messy… Mix all ingredients together by hand or you can also pulse ingredients in food processor, but start by blending the dates first and leaves the oats for last.
  2. Be sure to remove the seeds from the dates of course, we don't want to break any teeth!
  3. Then roll the mixture up into cookie shapes, any shape you’d like really.
  4. Place in the oven for about 15 mins @180C, or until they are toasted
