Today we’re bringing granola back! Except this a healthy vegan version, not packed with hidden sugars or any artificial ingredients.
This is what I’d call the Pilot or Season 1 Episode 1 to many more fun, healthy, easy, flavorful, diversified gRAWnola recipes to come. So you’ll have to tune in.
You can either have the granola, rawnola, or grawnola (whichever you prefer) on its own with some almond milk, you can add it to your breakfast fruit or smoothie bowls, or even roll it up into an energy ball as a snack.
It adds flavor, sweetness, crunch and is packed with nutritious elements.
Here we go!
Prep Time: 10-15 mins
Serves 6-8 people or 1 mason jar + a mini jar on the side
Lasts 5 days in airtight container
- 13 Mejdool dates
- ½ cup oats
- 1 cup mulberries
- ½ cup Coconut flakes
- ½ cup Pistachios
- ½ cup Walnuts
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- pinch of Salt
- First, remove the seed/core of the mejdool dates
- Place them in the food processor and pulse until they are cut into smaller pieces (make sure you do not blend on high speed, we want to keep the pieces in tact to give texture to the granola)
- Add the rest of the ingredients, and pulse once again just to break it down and mix it a little, but only pulse
- Place your rawnloa in an airtight jar and store in the fridge (or of course you may enjoy right away)
