Cinnamon, Nutmeg & Vanilla NiceCream

As the leaves start to change color and the cool autumn breeze sets in, I was inspired this morning to make a warm and homey treat.

The star of the show here is cinnamon. I find that this anti-inflammatory spice can remind us of a blissful holiday moment with family & friends, while inciting a slight pinch of nostalgia (the good kind).

This recipe is designed to help you transition from summer cool to autumn warmth. I hope you’ll enjoy it.

Serves 1-2 persons

Ingredients

  • 3 frozen Bananas
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 Vanilla pod or 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp Almond milk
  • pinch of salt

Topping Suggestions

  • Cinnamon
  • Hazelnuts
  • Walnuts

Method

  1. Peel & freeze bananas overnight
  2. Place all ingredients into your blender and mix until you have a smooth & creamy texture
